What Kind of Tree?
It use to be that people were deciding between Fir trees, Pine trees, or Spruce trees. Putting up a real Christmas tree was a "no brainer." We all ventured out sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas to purchase our tree. Many have made it a family tradition to cut down their tree each year, while others have a particular shop or farm that their family visits each winter to buy their tree.
Yet, as the years continue to go by, I can't help but notice how many more people seem to be purchasing artificial trees. What does your family have in your home?
An artificial Christmas tree or a real Christmas tree?

I surveyed 27 fourth graders. My survey showed that 14 families have artificial trees and 13 families have real trees. Only one more family has an artificial tree compared to the families that have real trees. Perhaps families don't like the care needed to keep your real tree looking nice. People would rather take time and effort to water it each day, and clean up the pine needles that fall.In my opinion, there is NOTHING better than the smell of a real Christmas tree.
Please read the the article below that tells the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing a real Christmas tree OR an artificial Christmas tree. What will your family decide to do? Does this article influence your decision.
